Sophie Cunningham is currently in rehab to address her brutal MCL injury sustained this season. While she had been a fan favorite for her aggressive style of play, her injury came as a significant setback for the team. However, before her injury, the 29-year-old posted some impressive numbers. She shot 46.9% from the field and 43.2% from the 3-point range.
Thus, looking at her performance, Fever fans have urged Cunningham to re-sign with Indiana. But as of now, the Fever guard is dealing with a unique crisis. A long list of food items has been handed over to the WNBA star, to which she is allergic. And she is not happy with it.

Life is pretty tough for Cunningham at the moment. While she’s still far from full fitness, the 29-year-old must also navigate free agency at the same time. And if that was not enough, a new medical test report has been handed over to her. In a recent episode of her ‘Show Me Something’ podcast, the Fever star revealed that she has been found allergic to dairy products and gluten.
Replying to the same, Cunningham said, “I’m like allergic to or not allergic, highly, highly sensitive to, like dairy, beef, pork, pineapple, rice, seaweed any type of cheese. But I don’t believe in that. I don’t believe in this test to be honest. No, I know it’s not. It’s not. Like, I think it’s just like the es and flows. Like, I don’t I don’t really know what it is, so it is what it is. I’ll be fine. But at least I have Arby’s now. Put a little beef in me. Not allergic to Arby’s.”
Surely, by the looks of it, Cunningham is in no way planning to abide strictly by the reports. However, on the contrary, she must be maintaining a strict diet to keep her mind and body fit, especially when Cunningham contacted agents for Victoria’s Secret collaboration.
