There has been a lot happening this WNBA offseason. While she’s away from the court for some time, Cunningham’s comments on her podcast still make the news.

Cunningham stirred the pot on the October 31 episode of her Show Me Something podcast, all while Fever fans hold their breath.
“I think the next team I play for, I want a bigger contract. So then I can buy a house and be homey and cozy,” she said.

Sophie Cunningham Lays Out Offseason Plan Despite Injury Rehab
Despite the injury, Cunningham’s eyeing a Honolulu marathon next December. On the same podcast, she shared a friend’s invite to the race, her “happy place,” but admitted, “My leg is not ready for it this year.”
Post-surgery on her MCL, she’s now treadmill-running. With the WNBA season ending in October, she plans to capitalize on her in-season shape.
