Sophie Cunningham is keeping herself fairly busy in the WNBA offseason. From appearing at the Annika Pro Am golf tournament with Caitlin Clark to making Google’s most searched athletes’ list in 2025, Cunningham has done it all.
And that’s not all. With the WNBA realm facing significant uncertainties, players are trying to have backup plans. Speaking about the same, the Indiana Fever star pointed out that she might ditch the WNBA for Project B in the near future.
Now, as things still hang in balance, Cunningham decided to freshen up her mind by doing hot yoga. But the reaction she came up with was pure gold.

Sophie Cunningham Shares A Hilarious Reaction After Hot Yoga Season
Cunningham recently gave her fans a sneak peek into her offseason routine. And along with it, she also gave them a reason to share a good laugh. Posting on her social media, the Fever star revealed that she had just attended a hot yoga session. But as she recorded herself detailing her experience, the 29-year-old cracked up her fans.
“In case you’re wondering, which I know you’re not, but I’m just going to throw it out there. … (If you’re) wondering why I look like I just got out of a swimming pool, I just did hot yoga for the first time. Oh my gosh. Actually, I think I’m still in a workout,” said Cunningham.

She further added, “That gave me nothing. Sorry that was pointless to everybody, but oh my gosh, I’ve never done that before, and I look like an idiot because I don’t know the flow yet, but I’m about to be a damn yogi.”
Certainly, taking such therapies may help her recover well and prepare for the upcoming season. Meanwhile, hot yoga was not the only thing occupying her mind. Having gotten into the most searched athletes’ list, Cunningham called herself a ‘late bloomer.’
Sophie Cunningham Calls Herself a Late Bloomer Following Her Recent Accolade
Cunningham was the only female star on Google’s 2025 list of most searched athletes. With the likes of Shedeur Sanders and Cooper Flagg taking the top spots, the Fever star came in at number 7.

And while she detailed her thoughts about the same, Cunningham jokingly said, “I really don’t know how to feel about that. I mean, it’s kind of cool, I guess, like you’re the only female up there. So that was pretty cool, but there is no real feeling towards it. Does that mean I am a late bloomer though? because if I am on my second contract, it takes a lot more for people to know who I was.”
