Sophie Cunningham did not have a good time while playing for the Indiana Fever. Trying to lead the team to the playoffs, ‘the enforcer’ suffered a brutal injury to her MCL. And as a result, she had no other option than to sit out for the rest of the season.
Meanwhile, as the season came to an end, the 29-year-old made it clear that her primary aim would be to focus on recovery. And as Cunningham is also keeping a backup plan, things were looking quite rosy with the Fever star. Unfortunately, things seem to be going haywire at the moment, as Cunningham suffered from food poisoning.

Sophie Cunningham Struggles With Food Poisoning
Cunningham had been involved in a lot of activities at the moment. But this Saturday, her revelation pointed out that everything is not okay with the 29-year-old.
Detailing her current situation, Cunningham stated that she was suffering from severe food poisoning on her way back home. “Had food poising all night. Can’t keep anything down now. Trying to fly home. Body is shaking and can barely move. HELP,” Cunningham stated.

Well, she would hope that things get back to normal soon. After all, Cunningham will not want any other new health problems plaguing her. Before her injury last year, the 29-year-old could play only 30 games. She averaged 8.6 points, 3.9 rebounds, and 2.0 assists. Now then, as she is looking to up the ante, Cunningham is trying out new ways to make her recovery better.
