The WNBA is going nowhere, literally. Mostly because we are deep into the offseason, and there is a little bit of doubt about if or when the next season will take place.
As uncertain as it gets, Sophie Cunningham found herself at the center of an entirely different kind of speculation, and wasted little time shutting it down.

Sophie Cunningham Shuts OnlyFans Question
The Indiana Fever guard sparked online chatter after appearing on Sundae Conversation with Caleb Pressley, where the conversation drifted toward life outside basketball.
During the episode, Pressley jokingly asked Cunningham whether she had considered starting an OnlyFans account as a backup plan if the WNBA were to enter a lockout.
However, Cunningham did not give a definitive answer on the show, which left room for speculation to snowball across social media. That speculation ended quickly.
On Tuesday, Cunningham responded directly in the comments of an Instagram post addressing the rumors.

“that will never happen,” she commented.
Cunningham, along with the rest of the league, is staring down the real possibility of a work stoppage after the WNBPA authorized its executive committee to call a strike if negotiations with the league fail to progress.
If a lockout does occur, Cunningham and other players would be sidelined until a new agreement is reached.
Sophie Cunningham Would Rather Have a Career in WWE
While Cunningham dismissed one hypothetical career path, she has been far more open about another, and that could very well be professional wrestling.
In a recent interview, Cunningham admitted she has seriously thought about stepping into the WWE universe, even teasing the idea of adopting a “spicy and feisty” ring persona. When asked about potential opponents or partners, she named The Bella Twins as an ideal matchup.
“I grew up on that sh*t. WWE baby! Me and [my sister] Lindsey used to wrestle all the time, and our parents would have to call it. But like Kane, Hulk. Oh my God. I used to watch the Hulk all the time, the reality TV show. But John Cena was just the absolute best, man. They asked me to do it. You know, maybe after I retire or off-season, maybe us two will be the new WWE duo,” Cunningham said.

That comment did not go unnoticed. Nikki Bella responded directly, saying she would be happy to face Cunningham one-on-one. Known as an on-court enforcer during the Fever’s 2025 season alongside Caitlin Clark, she has embraced a physical, confrontational identity that naturally translates to sports entertainment.
