Sophie Cunningham fielded questions from a Page Six reporter about the celebrities she would most like to see at an Indiana Fever game.
The list was a mix of pop stars, actors, and country singers, but when Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift came up, she had a specific story to share.
The Fever guard, sidelined since August by a torn MCL in her right knee, used the moment to highlight her teammate Caitlin Clark’s connections to the whole scenario.

However, Cunningham explained that the couple had planned to attend a Fever home game this season but could not make it. She pointed to Clark as the person best positioned to extend the invitation next year, given their friendship.

“You’re asking the wrong girl. You’ve got to get Caitlin out here asking those questions because we would love to have [Travis and Taylor] at a Fever game,” Cunningham said via Marca.
Clark, a known Chiefs fan, has spent time with Swift and Kelce, including joining them in a suite at Arrowhead Stadium for a playoff game in January and attending multiple Eras Tour concerts.

Cunningham’s comments about Swift fit with her growing affinity for the singer, which became public through social media moments tied to her Fever teammates.
Clark, who’s an outspoken Swift fan, has influenced the team’s culture around the music, and Cunningham has leaned into it during her recovery.
In late October, Cunningham posted a TikTok dancing to ‘The Fate of Ophelia’ from Swift’s album ‘The Life of a Showgirl.’
She wore new pants from Joah Brown and captioned it to show off the outfit. The video went viral, drawing millions of views and comments linking it to Clark.
