In the off-season, Sophie Cunningham had a lot of action with other sports. She attended an F1 race, NBA games, and, along with Caitlin Clark, the Annika Pro-Am event. She even had her signature basketball event for the fans at the Southwell Complex, Columbia College.
Amid this ‘lively’ action, she tuned into the NFL playoffs and lauded the Chicago Bears’ efforts to force Overtime. Fans, though, reacted negatively to the post.

Fans React To Sophie Cunningham’s Post
The Chicago Bears were underdogs throughout their run to the conference semis, where they faced the Rams. With a difference of seven points and the clock ticking, there was no hope for a comeback. But an incredible play gave them a touchdown, forcing overtime.
The outcome stunned Cunninham, who posted, “Chicago, what did I just watch???? Holy smokes.” Sadly, though, the Rams came up strong in OT to win the match.

Fans, though, reacted to Cunningham’s post, considering it a comment on the loss. They trolled the 29-year-old WNBA star.

The player is out of action for a long time and is working hard on her injury. While the star is not active on the basketball court, she remains active on social media and in her podcast, staying connected to the league and fans.
