Sue Bird Has Special Message For Angel Reese After Signature Shoes Sold Out
Angel Reese had a very productive second season, making more history with her rebounding prowess. At the end of the season, Reebok launched her signature shoes—Angel 1. Reese already declared the date for the mega release, and as expected, her shoe line received massive support, with all three colorways selling out within minutes. This put her on the list of active WNBA stars with a signature shoe line.
During a recent episode of her podcast, A Touch More, co-hosted with Megan Rapinoe, Bird congratulated Reese on the major success of her new sneakers.
“For my A Touch More this week, I’m going to talk about Reebok and how they dropped Angel Reese’s signature shoe, the Angel Reese 1. They dropped it in three colorways. It sold out in seconds, as women’s sports everything does. But just wanted to say congrats to Angel Reese. That’s huge. The more signature shoes in the market, the better. So, congratulations to her,” Bird said.
