Early Life & College Career

Born on January 17, 1994, in Detroit, Michigan, Powers starred at Detroit Country Day School before playing at Michigan State University (2013–2016). At MSU, she was a three-time First-Team All-Big Ten selection, earned All-American honors, and remains the Spartans’ all-time leader in defensive rebounds and scoring average.

WNBA & International Journey

After being drafted by the Dallas Wings in 2016, Powers made an immediate impact and was named to the WNBA All-Rookie Team.

She won her first WNBA Championship in 2019 with Washington.

Powers signed with the Minnesota Lynx in 2019 and later joined the Atlanta Dream for the 2024 season before signing with the Golden State Valkyries in 2025.
