Grace Elizabeth Berger was born on June 3, 1999, in Louisville, Kentucky. She grew up playing basketball at a young age and went on to star at Sacred Heart Academy, where she became one of the top-ranked recruits in the country.
Berger committed to Indiana University, where she played from 2018 to 2023. She became one of the most decorated players in Hoosier history, finishing her career as a three-time All-American and a five-time All-Big Ten selection. Berger also led Indiana to the 2023 Big Ten regular season title and was known as one of the most clutch guards in the NCAA.
