Early Life & College Career

Born on September 9, 2001, in Wenatchee, Washington, Van Lith played at Cashmere High School, where she became a McDonald’s All-American and the all-time leading scorer in state history.

In college, she played for Louisville (2020–23), earning two First-Team All-ACC selections and leading the team to a Final Four appearance in 2022. She then transferred to LSU (2023–24) before finishing her college career at TCU (2024–25), where she was Big 12 Player of the Year, tournament MVP, and a Third-Team AP All-American.

Over her college career, Van Lith played more games than any other Division I women’s player (172 games, 5,692 minutes), averaging 15.2 points, 4.1 rebounds, 3.4 assists, shooting 42.2% FG, 33.8% 3P, and 84.0% FT. In her standout 2024–25 season at TCU, she averaged 17.9 PPG, 4.6 RPG, and 5.4 APG, with a 45.9% field goal percentage.

Selected 11th overall by the Chicago Sky in the 2025 WNBA Draft, Hailey joins a talented roster that includes Angel Reese and Kamilla Cardoso, forming the Sky’s exciting new “Big 3.”
