Early Life

Jackie Young was born on September 16, 1997, in Princeton, Indiana. She was a high school sensation at Princeton Community High School, where she set the Indiana high school scoring record (3,268 points), surpassing legends like Damon Bailey.

Her outstanding play earned her national recognition and a scholarship to the University of Notre Dame, where she became a crucial player for the Fighting Irish. Young helped Notre Dame win the 2018 NCAA National Championship, contributing clutch performances on both ends of the floor.

Young declared for the WNBA Draft after her junior year and was selected 1st overall in 2019 by the Las Vegas Aces.
