After missing most of the action in the 2025 WNBA season, Caitlin Clark celebrated her selection to Team USA for the FIBA World Cup qualifiers. Fans are also excited to see their favourite stars on the court once again, even though most WNBA players were part of Unrivaled season 2 or AU during the offseason.
While the qualifier games will start from March 11 and the tournament will start from September 2026, fans were looking for live streaming or broadcasting options for the competition. FIBA cleared the gap and announced TNT Sports as its official broadcaster in the US.

TNT Sports To Broadcast FIBA Women’s Basketball World Cup
Team USA, with a much-changed roster, kept faith in young stars like Angel Reese, Paige Bueckers and Caitlin Clark to deliver for them at the international level. With a number of fan favorites on the roster, Warner Bros. also went deep into its pockets for the broadcasting rights and signed a multi-year deal.
According to the announcement, TNT Sports will broadcast FIBA’s top-line international competitions through 2029. These competitions include the 2026 FIBA Women’s Basketball World Cup and the 2027 FIBA Men’s Basketball World Cup in Qatar.
TNT Sports and FIBA have reached a multiyear deal for exclusive U.S. English language rights for all Men’s and Women’s tentpole tournaments.

We are particularly looking forward to the launch, and especially with so much of the spotlight on the Women’s World Cup.”
The competition in the tournament is fierce, looking at the recent Olympic outing and opponents. Yet Team USA holds a slight edge in the competition.
