The Indiana Fever’s 2025 season ended Tuesday with a gut-wrenching 107-98 overtime loss to the Las Vegas Aces in Game 5 of the WNBA semifinals. Despite the heartbreak, Indiana Pacers star Tyrese Haliburton took time to clap for the city team.
Though this was not the first time as the Indiana Pacers superstar, Haliburton recently caught hyping up the Fever on camera.

Plagued by injuries, including the loss of Caitlin Clark after just 13 games, the Fever defied odds to reach the semifinals as the sixth seed. For the team that started as a fan favourite to win the ring, Indiana still pulled off a great performance before the exit.

Known among the Indianapolis fans as a Pro-Clark supporter, Haliburton didn’t mince words after the Fever’s elimination. He kept up with his same energetic aura and sent Fever the much-needed pat on the back.
“S/o @IndianaFever!! Ton of injuries, bunch of midseason additions, resilient all year. Inspiring shit,” the NBA star wrote.

Although his feelings for the Fever stem from his own set of firsthand experiences, similar to the Pacers, who fell in Game 7 of the NBA Finals, the Fever pushed a powerhouse to the brink. Haliburton, sidelined by an ACL tear, sees parallels in their underdog spirit.
Tyrese Haliburton Supporting Indiana Fever Through Thick And Thin
Haliburton’s support for the Fever isn’t just a one-off tweet as he’s been a fixture in their corner all season. Despite undergoing Achilles surgery less than two weeks before a late-season game, Haliburton showed up at Gainbridge Fieldhouse to cheer against the Los Angeles Sparks, rocking a protective boot.
Even as Clark sat out with her groin injury, Haliburton’s presence lifted spirits during a tough 89-87 loss. His bond with Clark, a fellow Midwest hoops star, runs deep. He backed her through the Fever’s rocky 1-11 start and celebrated their playoff push, much like he did during the Pacers’ Eastern Conference title run.
