The Breeze BC was an expansion team with many young players playing in the Unrivaled for the first time. But it didn’t stop the rookie squad from being fearless and effective on the court as the side records its fourth win in six matches, defeating the Lunar Owls in the recent game.
Apart from PB, another player who stole the spotlight was Dominique Malonga. Scoring 21 points in the game, she showcased her offensive game. Even though Bueckers leads with explosive scoring capabilities in the league, the real highlight of the match came in the first quarter, when Malonga finished a move with a dunk.

Fans React To Dominique Malonga’s Monster Dunk
The second overall pick in the 2025 WNBA draft created huge buzz even before joining the league, as her dunks went viral after people started searching for more about the star. Although she had little opportunity in the ‘W’ to show her verticals, the player did so in the Unrivaled league.
With 3:32 minutes left in the first quarter, Rickea Jackson found the Storm forward rushing towards the basket; her point-blank pass found the forward, who had an open lane for an easy bucket. The player chose to show her explosive side and finished the play with a one-handed, powerful dunk.

Dominique Malonga With Statement Performance In Unrivaled League
The player faced significant backlash after her infamous snub of Fenerbahçe. But she decided to play in the Unrivaled league and performed well. After six games, she is averaging 16.7 points and 10.8 rebounds, contributing heavily to the second-placed Breeze BC.
In the WNBA, she had a slow start, but gradually started playing a meaningful role in the system and even set a record in the playoffs with a double-double stat. While the Unrivaled will certainly polish her skills, her slam dunk highlights her capabilities and confidence on the floor.
