After 10 games, the picture for the Unrivaled season 2 playoffs is much clearer. Phantom BC made a push for the playoffs after their recent win over the Breeze BC. Paige Bueckers’ 28-point efforts couldn’t save the Breeze BC against the Phantom’s clinical performance in the fourth quarter.
But the expansion team is not giving up and is looking to clinch the qualification with their latest move in the trade market. With just four games remaining, every win would impact the league’s standings in order to push for the title.

Breeze BC Lands Courney Wiliams In Unrivaled’s Mega Trade
After Aari McDonald’s injury news broke, the league also announced a mega trade involving four teams and three players. As per the update from the Unrivaled, Courtney Williams, Saniya Rivers, and Azura Stevens are all on the move.
On Monday morning, Unrivaled announced a massive shale-up, including Williams moving to Breeze BC from Vinyl BC, Stevens to Hive from Rose BC, and Rivers to Vinyl from Hive BC.
Though there are no details of player Rose BC landed, or the player Breeze BC moved to absorb Williams, this switch will hugely impact the remaining games in the league.

Interestingly, this is only the second trade in Unrivaled’s history, and both involve Courtney Williams switching teams. As for the Lynx star, she joins Noelle Quinn’s Breeze team, which is fourth in the league standings and has a 5-5 record. With an eye on the playoff qualification, the move could play a huge role for the season 2 newcomers.
Could Courtney Williams To Guide Young Breeze Side To Glory?
The initial issue with the Breeze BC team was a lack of experience on the roster. Early in the season, this inexperience and hunger to prove themselves handed them a 3-0 start. But as the season progressed, the team missed on some expected wins and dropped to fourth position in the latest Unrivaled Power rankings.
They now add experience in the backcourt, with Williams taking over the secondary scoring role. Aari McDonald’s injury leaves the side shorthanded, and Williams’ addition will provide Noelle Quinn backup for her leading scorer, PB.
While the Williams proved herself on the WNBA and Unrivalled floor, it will be interesting to see how she matches up with the young guns of the Breeze BC and takes them to the Final Four or even the championship in a short period of time.
