The Unrivalled games are bringing in some unexpected outcomes, with bottom-placed sides also impacting the top rankings, recording surprising wins. Recently, a game between Hive BC and Breeze BC was an example of the same, as Paige Bueckers couldn’t help her team overcome the low-ranked side to move up in the table.
Though PB lost the game, her gameplay won over a celebrity fan. As it happened, eight-time Olympic gold medalist Usain Bolt was in attendance to watch the Wings’ star play and openly acknowledged his fondness for her game.

Usain Bolt Is In Team Paige Bueckers
The Breeze star is slowly building her case for the Unrivaled MVP award with consistent performances. In the recent loss, she also scored 28 points to keep her side in the contest. Though they lost the game by just two points, the legendary sprinter seemed impressed by her game.
“Yeah, I’m definitely a fan [of Paige Bueckers],” Bolt said on the sidelines. “We support Dallas. You know, we’ve been to a few games in Dallas. We actually are getting season tickets this season, so I look forward to seeing many more games.”

Earlier, the 23-year-old reflected on fan support, calling it ‘super surreal’. She appreciated the support and added that she feels bad because she can’t show love and get back to every single one of them. But in reality, she is showing all the love with her play on the court.

While Bolt mentioned buying the Wings’ season tickets, the Texas franchise fared poorly in the 2025 season. But Coach Jose Fernandez is looking to turn the tide around and put the 2025 rookie at the heart of his every plan.
Dallas Wings With Concrete Plan For Paige Bueckers’ Second Season
As much as the former UConn star shone on the court in her debut season, the Wings’ roster failed to match her and finished in 13th position in the league. That prompted a change at the head coach position and may be now a complete overhaul in the 2026 season.
Talking about his plan for the season, the Wings’ new coach said, “Paige is a very good basketball player. One of the faces of the league and the future of the WNBA and also USA basketball. She wants to be coached. She wants to win. So, that’s plain and simple.”
PB carried the team in the 2025 season and won the rookie of the year accolade for her performances. Now with another top pick entering the lineup, she could have the support she needs on the floor.
