The connection between the NBA and the WNBA is very strong, and in some cases, it’s even personal. Bam Adebayo and A’ja Wilson went public with their relationship, and the next stars in line were Angel Reese and Wendell Carter Jr. Late in November, Reese fueled dating rumors with the Orlando Magic’s star with a cryptic social media post.
Later, the star gave the biggest hint on a podcast with his comments about the Chi-Town Barbie. While there were different occasions and posts, the duo showed their love; the big center commented on the Sky forward’s message for the first time.

Wendell Carter Jr. Reacts To Angel Reese’s Post
Ever since the WNBA Season was over, the 2024 rookie was at the NBA Games showing her support to the Orlando Magic team, clapping for her boyfriend, Wendell Carter Jr. Though the duo is just enjoying each other’s company, the star hasn’t made any official statement about their relationship, until her recent post.
Highlighting her stunning looks at the NBA game, Reese wrote, “You see why he is always winning,” with a wink emoji. While it’s still a cryptic post, Carter Jr also quickly reacted to the post and wrote, “type s**t.”
The former Duke star’s comment is certainly a fun poke at Reese’s post and claims. But the Windy City star had been a regular at the Magic games. Angel Reese redefines WAG after supporting boyfriend Wendell Carter Jr. at the New York Knicks-Orlando Magic clash.

As for the NBA team, the side is showing remarkable consistency in the 2025-26 season. The side has an 11-5 home record and stands fifth in the league. The former LSU star might be the lucky charm for the Magic team, and she also showed support for her other team, Rose BC, the winners of the inaugural season of the Unrivalled league.
Angel Reese Receives Love From Her Unrivaled Team
The 24-year-old made her mark in the 3-on-3 competition and even won a title in its very first season. But after four collegiate seasons and an Unrivaled game in between two WNBA Seasons, the player is taking a break from the game, missing the second season 2 of the new league. However, that’s not stopping her from showing love for the Roe BC.
The team commented on Reese’s post with a rose emoji. The player quickly replied with a question, “Y’all miss me yet?”

The side also immediately replied, “Will forever miss our Barbie, but we love seeing you thrive and smell your flowers this off-season.”
It will be interesting to watch her on the sidelines of the Unrivalled games supporting the ‘new’ Rose BC team. The player already has many good relations in the league and will be cheering for them all, just a bit more to the Rose side.
