Unrivaled is taking the basketball realm by storm. With the league in just its second year in 2026, the hype is really getting on with the fans. In a recent turn of events, the 3-on-3 league made history.
With a whopping 21,490 people attending the league’s Philadelphia event, the attendance marked the highest in women’s basketball.
-Previously, none of the women’s regular-season games crossed the 21000 threshold. Moreover, the Philadelphia turnout also surpassed the WNBA’s highest attendance of 20,711 back on September 19, 2024.
Now, to make things more interesting for the fans, Unrivaled will have the 1-on-1 tournament getting underway shortly. And while Breanna Stewart is the hot favorite to win the $200,000 event, here are the top 5 games that you cannot miss.

Looking at their averages, Mabrey holds a slight edge over Citron in terms of average points per game. Of course, Mabrey is the league leader with 26.8 points. But Citron, too, is not far behind, dropping 16.6 per game. Add to that the duo’s incredible ability to shoot from the three-point range. Another interesting fact is that both the stars played for Notre Dame and thus, must be well aware of how each other plays.
4. Dominique Malonga vs Aaliyah Edwards

Malonga has been impressing the fans right from her time in the WNBA last year. Although she did not get many opportunities in the WNBA, Unrivaled has made her bloom significantly. Playing alongside the likes of Paige Bueckers, Malonga has become an integral part of the Breeze BC lineup. After all, who can forget Malonga’s thundering dunk just a few days back?
In terms of rebounds, both Malonga and Edwards are going toe-to-toe. While Edwards is leading the charts with 13.6 rebounds per game, Malonga, with an average of 10.9 rebounds per game, is in third place. Another slight advantage for Malonga might be her couple of inches in height over Edwards. However, in the end, it might all come down to who can defend smarter and better under pressure.
3. Jordin Canada vs Skylar Diggins

Looking at the matchup, it might look like Diggins will run away with the win. After all, she had quite an impressive performance for the Seattle Storm last season. Diggins dropped averages of 15.5 points, 6.0 assists, 2.5 rebounds, and 1.2 steals from 43 regular-season game appearances. And carrying the good form this year, the 35-year-old has been phenomenal in the Unrivaled, too.
However, Canada, although an underdog, might just come up with a surprise. As a matter of fact, the 30-year-old star dropped a 14-point game in the recent game for the Laces. She also shot 6-of-10 within a span of 13 minutes, which went on to show her strong shooting prowess.
2. Alyssa Thomas vs Aliyah Boston

Well, we are getting to some elite territory now. This is certainly a matchup that most of the fans wanted to see. Both stars have a reputation for being physical on the court. And thus, the 1-v-1 matchup might just be the ultimate test for the two. Now, Boston might have the size advantage, but Thomas is not called ‘The Engine’ for nothing.
Her relentless pursuit of a point means that she will not stop at anything until she gets the point. Looking up an interesting fact, Boston had the most fouls at 136 in the 2025 WNBA season. Thus, as the two stalwarts lock horns, the resulting matchup will be a banger.
1. Paige Bueckers vs Kate Martin

This one will be a cracker of a game. Perhaps the best. Bueckers had emerged as one of the biggest names in the WNBA last year. And she has continued to carry forward the momentum into Unrivaled, too. Currently, Bueckers is averaging 25.0 points per game and is third on the leaderboard.
But while Bueckers is the favorite to win the duel, her Breeze BC teammate, Martin, will surely put up a strong fight. ‘Money Martin’ did look a bit dissatisfied following the announcement of the bracket, but she will not let her run away with the game easily.
