The Unrivaled regular season will take a backseat now, as six teams from the eight will now advance to the playoffs. The top two teams advance to the semifinals, and the next four teams will face each other in knockout games to determine their opponents. This sends Mist Bc and Phantom BC to the semifinal, while Vinyl BC, Rose BC, Laces BC, and Breeze BC will play in the knockout games.
While the league enjoyed success in Philadelphia, it is expanding to Brooklyn as part of its future expansion plans, where teams will play semifinals. Check out probable teams joining Mist BC and Phantom BC in Brooklyn.

Unrivaled Season 2 Possible Semifinalists
While the 2025 season featured six teams in the Unrivaled league, the top four teams played semifinal games to determine the finalists for the inaugural season. The expansion allowed the 3-on-3 league to be creative with the format, and now teams ranking between three and six will play playoff games in a knockout format to advance to the semifinal.
According to the standings, the following will be the playoff fixtures to determine the semifinalists.
Vinyl BC vs Laces BC
The midseason Unrivaled power ranking put the Laces BC as the top candidate for the championship. Alyssa Thomas had potent support and a strong two-way lineup to challenge any team. But late losses put them in third position as they have to take on Vinyl BC in the first playoff game. One of those shocking losses was against the Vinyl BC, with Rae Burrell leading the charge for the Whitherspoon’s team.

With guards like Jackie Young and Britteny Sykes patrolling the wings, the Laces will be ready for the challenge this time. Talking about the interiors, the Vinyl BC have an edge with Dearica Hamby finding rhythm. She will face a tough challenge of scoring against and defending Alyssa Thomas. The Laces are expected to advance to the semifinals behind leader AT.
Rose BC vs Breeze BC
This could be an interesting match-up with two MVP candidates, Paige Bueckers and Chelsea Gray, taking center stage while young forwards Angel Reese and Dominique Malonga look to make their mark in the paint region. Kahleah Copper gives the Rose BC and offensive edge in the matchup, while Lexie Hull could prove to be the clutch star in the game, as she was for the Indiana Fever in the ‘W’.

Stopping Paige Bueckers will be a challenge for the Rose BC defence, while Rickea Jackson could be the surprising scoring leader of the Breeze BC. Both teams have strong benches, making it difficult to predict the winner based on game quality. Both teams met once this season, and the Roe BC have since upgraded their roster with the addition of Angel Reese, who could well be the difference-maker in the game.
