The WNBA realm is shaping up to be an exciting prospect in the coming days. Despite the current situation looking uncertain, with the CBA deal still not confirmed, there are some positives that can be discussed. At the moment, the league has experienced a significant boom in its revenues.
Yet, the WNBA has been quite reluctant to raise the revenue-sharing ratio with the players. However, despite all the hurdles coming in, there is one name that is constantly working towards fulfilling the dreams of young girls becoming the stars of tomorrow. And she is none other than Faatimah Amen-Ra A.

Who Is Faatimah Amen-Ra A Helping The WNBA Stars Of Tomorrow?
Looking at how the likes of Caitlin Clark and Angel Reese have helped the league grow, Amen-Ra A realized something. She knew that for the WNBA to sustain in the long run, a supply of quality female basketball players had to be provided. And thus, she established the Women’s Premier Basketball Association.
Amen-Ra A was a passionate basketball player in Mexico. Now, trying to help the young female basketball players achieve their dreams, she leaves no stone unturned with her Oakland-based league. With the players being the sole focus of the same, coaches and sponsors soon joined her on her journey. For example, the director for Baden Sports, Chad Lindstrom ,is ‘hooked.’
Speaking about her vision, Amen Ra A stated, “I really wanted to put the Bay on the map as much as possible. It’s really hard if you’re not a first, second, or third round draft pick, you don’t really know what that path looks like. And if we’re better able to educate everybody that’s here, we’re really able to create longevity within their careers. But just set the standard and set a great example for the next generation of athletes.”

Surely, this is some incredible work from Amen-Ra A. Meanwhile, speaking about leagues helping the WNBA, one cannot overlook Unrivaled. And speaking about the same, Geno Auriemma recently heaped praises on Unrivaled.
Geno Auriemma Impressed With Unrivaled As The League Helps WNBA Stars Improve Their Game

Unrivaled is just in its second year. And within a short time, it has taken the fans by storm. Not only is the league garnering some impressive viewership numbers. But it is also helping WNBA talents get better. Take Dominique Malonga, for example. Following a decent WNBA season, her Unrivaled stint has transformed her into a more mature and lethal athlete. And all of this has left Naphees Collier and Breanna Stewart’s former coach, Auriemma, mightily impressed.
“Now, somebody asked me one time about the names of all the teams and all this other stuff, and I’m like, “No, I don’t know all that stuff.” Or, “You’re an investor. Shouldn’t you know that? No, I mean, I’m an investor in Apple, and I don’t know about how they make phones and all that stuff. So, I tell people that I invested in Stewie and Napheesa as people because I believe in them. And then I watch to see what it looks like, and it looks amazing,” said Auriemma.
Thus, with things looking pretty positive, fans will now be eager to see what comes next.
