The hype around the WNBA Draft 2026 has been going on for quite some time now. Unfortunately, with the stalled CBA talks plaguing the momentum, there is no set timeline for when the draft will take place.
Thankfully, in a recent statement, Breanna Stewart had some positive things to say about the upcoming WNBA season. And with that, there is a fairly high chance of UCLA making history. The Bruins have always been one of the biggest names in the NCAA. When it comes to college basketball, UCLA has always provided a lot of big names to the WNBA.
Likewise, this year in the draft, too, the Bruins will have a lot of their young talents lining up. And all of them combined might take UCLA to an entirely new pedestal.

Can The UCLA Bruins Land Five First-Round Draft Picks In 2026?
UCLA Bruins will come into the WNBA draft this year with a stacked lineup. Lauren Betts, Kiki Rice, Gabriela Jaquez, Gianna Kneepkens, Charlisse Leger-Walker, and Angela Dugalić should find some lucrative contracts this year.
However, it is heavily perceived that at least five of the six names will be picked in the first round. And if this happens, UCLA would be making history. No other college has, till now, produced five first-round picks in the same draft.

At the moment, the UConn Huskies hold the record with four first-round picks back in 2002. Back then, it was the Storm who roped in Sue Storm, while Detroit picked up Swin Cash. And that was not all.
Two more teams, the Washington Mystics and the Minnesota Lynx, picked up Ashja Jones and Tamika Williams as the fourth and sixth overall draft picks, respectively. Meanwhile, standing on the cusp of victory, here are the probable teams that might pick up the UCLA stars.
What Are Probable WNBA Destinations For UCLA Bruins Lineup?

When it comes to the number 1 overall pick, Lauren Betts will certainly be the first choice. Playing some impressive basketball in the NCAA circuit, Betts might go to either the Lynx, Mystics, or the Dallas Wings.
Next up, Gianna Kneepkens has been the best 3-point shooter this year. And with the Chicago Sky struggling with their form for the past two seasons, a probable team-up with Angel Reese might be on the cards.
Kiki Rice, Gabriela Jacquez, and Charlisse Leger-Walker, too, might cause a significant stir. Although foreshadowing their potential destinations might be a bit tough at the moment. All in all, boasting a 24-1 record in the college realm, the Bruins are on course to take their game to the next level.
