The WNBA All-Star festivities are high up in the sky in Indianapolis. Though there will be a couple of most loved faces missing from the games, including Caitlin Clark. Fans are still keeping up the craze as ticket prices are skyrocketing.
Despite the celebration, a video from the practice court has recently gone viral. While the supporters are spending crazy money on planning for attending the games, they would surely not love the shooting prior to the first match.
Fans Rip WNBA All-Stars’ Shooting Blunder At Practice Court
A groin injury has already sidelined the Indiana Fever star guard Caitlin Clark from the WNBA All-Star Game festivities. She sustained it in a recent matchup against the Connecticut Sun. Her absence has fans in doubt whether the games would still be the same.
However, with all this still in a mix, a video from the All-Star court took social media by storm. In the clip where not all of the players are recognizable, the shooting was an absolute blunder. The players made as many as eight shots in the 23-second-long clip. But none of those balls ended up in the net.

Once the social media fans caught the wind, reactions started coming. Most of the users called it dropping bricks, a slang term used for airballs or missing the net. The rest were out of disgust as well.
“Westbrick their coach??” a fan commented while taking a shot at NBA star Russell Westbrook.

However, let’s hope this does not repeat in during the WNBA All-Star Games. otherwise, it would be a bad experience for the ones putting good money to watch the game in person.
WNBA All-Star Games Ticket Sales Hit Record High Despite Caitlin Clark’s Injury
Despite the shooting blunder, most of the things are on the positive side. The excitement around the 2025 WNBA All-Star Game has reached new heights as ticket prices hit a record high.

Currently, the average price sits at a staggering $262, which is a notable increase of 84.5% from last year’s All-Star Game in Phoenix and a jaw-dropping 350% compared to 2023. With a get-in price of $121, fans are eager to secure their spots for what promises to be a memorable event.
Previous averages were much lower, peaking at $150 in 2022, but this year’s demand is off the charts. However, the absence of Caitlin Clark, the league’s biggest draw and captain of Team Clark, hangs in the balance due to a recent groin injury. Already missing 10 games this season, her participation remains out of the conversation.
