Caitlin Clark’s injury has hit the Indiana Fever hard and the WNBA All-Star games harder. Following the announcement that the Iowa star would miss the All-Star Game due to a groin injury, ticket prices have dropped dramatically.
After weeks of anticipation and fan voting, the star rookie got to lead Team Clark as the captain. She would be facing Team Collier and giving fans a time to remember. However, the dream was cut short after she met with an unfortunate injury yet again.
Caitlin Clark’s Absence Plummet WNBA All-Star Ticket Prices To Half
After injuring her groin against the Connecticut Sun, Clark made her way back to the court. While the fans had high hopes for her return, the young phenom felt discomfort in her groin area and left the game afterwards.
However, fans were initially holding tight, as some reports say the injury disappointment did not bother them much. Originally, the cheapest tickets on TickPick were priced as high as $126. It had an average resale price reaching a record $262 prior to the injury announcement.

After news broke about her absence, the minimum ticket price plummeted to approximately $65. Which turned out to be a massive 48.4% drop from the initial price. Despite the initial hype, the All-Star Weekend is falling flat after the sidelining of its biggest star.
This marked the first time Indy got the chance to host the All-Star events, and the Gainbridge Fieldhouse is buzzing with anticipation. Much of this was due to Clark’s stardom and the crowd she brings to the arenas with her presence.

Caitlin Clark’s Teammate Lexie Hull Replaces Her In 3-Point Contest
While Clark’s run ended with a disheartening injury, the team almost immediately announced her replacement for the WNBA All-Star Game. The Indiana Fever guard Lexie Hull will step in for her teammate in the 3-point contest during All-Star weekend.
Hull is currently having an impressive season, shooting 46.8% from beyond the arc. It places her fourth in the WNBA, with 29 total 3-pointers made, tying her with Clark for the second-most on the Fever.
