Caitlin Clark has been getting all the limelight ever since her WNBA arrival. Playing some stellar basketball in her rookie year, she provided the female basketball realm a significant boost. Now, even though she is out of action for a long time, the spotlight hasn’t left her.
Recently, Clark starred in a Gatorade advertisement alongside Candace Parker. And while her road to a successful WNBA comeback is in progress, the 23-year-old’s previous successes are being heavily appreciated.

WNBA Acknowledges Caitlin Clark For Her Impressive NCAA Record
Before coming to the WNBA, the Indiana Fever star was an integral part of the Iowa Hawkeyes. The 2-time WNBA All-Star not only took her team to the finals, but she also conquered almost every record on the collegiate level.
One such record was how the 2024 Rookie of the Year became the all-time highest scorer for NCAA Division I. During her four years of brilliance in college, the 24-year-old dropped a whopping 3685 career points. In the process, she overtook ‘Pistol’ Pete Maravich’s record of 3667 points, setting a new benchmark for the others.
Celebrating the second anniversary of the incredible feat, the Indiana Fever took to Instagram and uploaded an old picture of Clark. They captioned it, “This is who 🥹Two years ago today, @caitlinclark22 rewrote the record books and broke Pete Maravich’s 54-year-old record to become the @ncaa all-time leading scorer.”

Surely, breaking the 54-year-old record was only the first step in establishing herself as a basketball great. Coming into the WNBA as the number 1 overall draft pick, her debut season was a remarkable success. She dropped averages of 19.2 points, 5.7 rebounds, and 8.4 assists.
Meanwhile, as the WNBA season looks like a rocky road ahead, the Fever front office had an alternate job offer for 2024 All-WNBA First Team.
Indiana Fever Offers New Job To Caitlin Clark

The CBA fiasco is doing some serious damage to the prospect of a new season. Recently, the back and forth also reportedly resulted in a rift within the players’ association. Thus, under such circumstances, the Fever cornerstone athlete got quite an unusual offer from the front office.
The Indiana Fever recently posted for trials of their dance squad. Posting on Instagram, the team wrote, “ready to bring the heat? 😏🌡️ registration for the 2026 Inferno Hip-Hop Squad auditions is now LIVE 💥”
This immediately caught Clark’s eyes as she commented, “🤔😏😆”
Surprisingly, the Fever front office extended her an invitation to be the guest judge. “guest judge CC? 😏👀” they replied.
Surely, with things looking quite playful, both Clark and the Fever would want the CBA stalemate to get resolved as soon as possible.
