Fans are of utmost importance to a sport. Without their emotional and physical attachment, a league will feel robotic. However, sometimes, there are instances that might give the feeling of fans crossing a line. And one such incident recently took place during the Phoenix Mercury and Washington Mystics game.
As Kahleah Copper’s wig fell off in a bizarre turn of events, things took an even weirder turn. A fan suddenly started to make fun of the situation. And it was at this exact moment that the officials realized they had to draw a line.

Lame.
“The WNBA doesn’t have the luxury to be ejecting 1 of their 9 fans, that’s like 11% of their total fan base,” chimed in a fan.

Meanwhile, this is not the first time Copper has been in the news. She has been in a verbal back and forth with Angel Reese.
Angel Reese Takes A Shot At Kahleah Copper Over 2K26 Reveal
Angel Reese is on the rise. She has shown some decent improvements from last year. And now, as Chi-Town Barbie is climbing up the ladder, she is not shying away from flaunting her accomplishments. Recently, after the NBA 2K26 revealed her first image, Reese also pointed out a special detail. She stated that the game also showed glimpses of her Reebok Angel Reese 1.
And Kahleah Cooper immediately took a shot at Reese. She wrote, “Have my signed pair next time I see you. Thanks.” Reese, not the one to back down, responded with a hilarious comment. She wrote, “Bye, Miss Adidas.”

Surely, with things looking a bit complicated for Kahleah Copper, fans cannot wait to see what happens next.
