As for Magic Johnson, his LA Sparks side couldn’t make it to the playoffs in the 2025 season. Sparks’ Dearica Hamby stayed positive despite the team’s playoff setback, and so did the Lakers’ legend. Moreover, the owner is happy with the recent upgrade in the franchise.
Magic Johnson Lauds LA Sparks’ New Upgrade
The Sparks had a potent team for the playoffs, but failed to finish in the top 8. The team struggled with injuries to key players. The front office looks to make upgrades and confirmed a state-of-the-art training facility for its players. Magic Johnson was happy with the decision and congratulated the management.
“I’m excited about the new LA Sparks state-of-the-art practice facility, which will be the best in all of the WNBA! I want to congratulate my Sparks partner and new Lakers Owner Mark Walter, as well as my business partner Eric Holoman, for making this dream facility come to fruition!” Johnson wrote in his post.
