Caitlin Clark is now a global phenomenon. But she has not stopped going back to her roots time and again. After all, it was from the Iowa Hawkeyes that her journey to greatness started. Recently, Clark was happy to learn about her former Hawkeye teammate, Gabbie Marshall, relocating to Indianapolis.
And while Clark has shown up regularly to Hawkeyes’ games this season, she recently revealed who she looks up to. And it was none other than the Hawkeyes’ coach, Lisa Bluder, that Clark cited as her true inspiration.
Thus, because the 23-year-old has such a deep connection with Iowa, many expect her to speak up about the recent happenings. And surely, after Taylor Stremlow received a tech, Clark lashed out.

What Did Caitlin Clark Say About Taylor Stremlow?
In a recent matchup, the Hawkeyes locked horns with Fairfield. As the game was evenly contested, the heat began to rise among the players. And at the end of the first half, Stremlow got into a bit of a pickle.
As the referee booked Stremlow with a tech, the initial reaction from the Big Ten Network broadcasters too, looked confusing. They could make out whether the foul was directed towards Stremlow or it was her coach, Jan Jansen.
But later on, it became clear that the referee booked Stremlow for getting emotional following a tough block.

“True. But to me there is a boundary, where it becomes taunting; and I don’t like it, in any sport, men or women. Strem sorta crossed that line,” quipped a WNBA enthusiast.
