Angel Reese always loves to make some stellar entries in the game. Be it with her superb gameplay or her incredible style quotient. Earlier this month, Reese debuted her brand new look for the 2026 WNBA season.
However, despite all the off-court actions from Reese, fans are eagerly waiting to see the Chicago Sky star get back to the game. Following her injury-plagued WNBA season last year, Reese decided to take time away from the court.
Surprisingly, while she initially did not sign up for Unrivaled, there is a possibility that the Chi-town Barbie might come back midseason.

Kahleah Copper’s Cryptic Post Fuels Huge Angel Reese Speculation
Playing for the Rose BC, Reese was a standout performer back in the 2025 edition of Unrivaled. Being a part of the championship team, the absence of Reese this year came as a disappointment. However, a three-way trade and a post from Copper have left the possibilities of her return wide open.
The Unrivaled witnessed a three-way trade on Monday involving Courtney Williams, Saniya Rivers, and Azura Stevens. Most critics looked confused as the trade did not benefit the Rose BC much. Soon, Copper took to her threads account and posted a smirking face emoji.
Such a reaction immediately sparked rumors about the Rose BC having a secret motive to give away Stevens. And that might be Reese confirming her return to the team. Much to everyone’s intrigue, Rose BC also put up a ‘coming soon’ placard in place of Stevens’ player card.

Surely, with the Unrivaled already changing the dynamics of the female basketball realm, the addition of Angel Reese to the mix will only elevate the game further. However, as of now, there is no concrete news of the Sky star joining the Unrivaled. Rather, she has spoken about focusing on the WNBA. And as the WNBA season comes closer, Reese will need to repair a reportedly wrecked relationship with Courtney Vandersloot.
Will Things Get Normal Between Angel Reese And Courtney Vandersloot?

Reese sparked a storm last year when she lashed out at her teammates. As the Chicago Sky underperformed for two seasons straight, the 23-year-old called for changes. She stated that the team needs to add more quality players to the roster. Surprisingly, Reese seemed to target Vandersloot in particular. The 23-year-old pointed out that the veteran was too old to come back in 2026. And this apparently ruined the relationship between the two.
“One crucial step would be repairing her relationship with Courtney Vandersloot, who is considered internally to be the player most upset by Reese’s questioning of whether the Sky can rely on the veteran to return from a torn ACL,” wrote the Chicago Tribune’s Julian Poe back in 2025.
