The WNBA and WNBPA CBA talks are now the talk of the town, with everyone giving their opinion and suggestions to get the deal in place. One analyst showed how Nneka Ogwumike could single-handedly seal the deal amid the WNBA-CBA standoff. But the WNBPA president is often on podcasts or in interviews criticizing the league and its approach.
Though the players are facing the heat and uncertainty over their future, fans are also losing patience and control, and recently showed their support to the WNBA, which recently made another offer.

Fans React To WNBPA’s Stand On CBA
After another rejection from the players’ association, the WNBA received a revised proposal from the players’ representatives. The offer showed changes in the revenue-sharing model and also the salary cap value, allowing the league to make a better offer.
The league also quickly turned down the suggestion, mentioning that accepting the proposal would incur $460 million loss. They recently sent a proposal bettering the benefits from the earlier proposal, but kept the revenue share and salary cap numbers the same.
EXCLUSIVE: The WNBA's new CBA offer to players includes no movement on the league’s proposed salary cap or revenue sharing, a league source confirmed to FOS.

They told the players like 50 times they can’t alter the revenue sharing model and be financially viable. How many times do they need to hear the same thing?

One fan commented, “I still say take it and keep moving the league forward.”
Sounds like time is running out and that's a take it or leave it deal if rev sharing isn't being discussed.

I still say take it and keep moving the league forward. Just take note of it for the next deal because they want there to be a next deal.
Though fans showed their angry side on the players’ association’s stance, Napheesa Collier is not ready to give up and took an even stronger stand.
WNBPA Vice President Ready To Sit Out For CBA Deal
Many players’ associations and former players showed support for the WNBPA’s fight for their rights. Napheesa Collier even spoke about the opportunity to help women in sport grow with the dream CBA deal. And now with the delay, the vice president is strict on her stand.
Talking on the ‘Hoops 360’ podcast, she said, “Well, for the past year and a half, the executive committee has been urging everyone to save their money because we knew the negotiations were coming up. We never know what’s going to happen.”
"That's not what anyone wants but it's what we're willing to do in order to get the things we feel are fair."

“You know, if there’s not a season, we want to make sure everyone’s prepared. So hopefully everyone has been doing that. … We want a season to happen, but if we don’t get the things that we are wanting to stay 10 toes down on, then we’re going to sit out for as long as that takes. That’s not what anyone wants, but it’s what we’re willing to do in order to get the things that we feel are fair,” the forward added.
Interestingly, the players already voted for the strike option, and if they do take such a serious step, they might well lose some more fans.
