Aliyah Boston reveals one Unrivaled habit that would set her for an even bigger Indiana Fever weapon. Paige Bueckers mentioned that she is adding another offensive arsenal in her ‘near-perfect’ game to be more impactful in the upcoming WNBA season. While these stars are improving on the gameplay, one player is just thriving on more game time and scoring for fun. That ‘silent killer’ is none other than Aaliyah Edwards.
The sixth overall pick in the 2024 WNBA draft didn’t get many opportunities, with her two seasons split between two franchises. But her Unrivaled showing must be alarming for any franchise in the ‘W’.

Aaliyah Edwards Put Connecticut Sun On Alert
Playing in her second season in the Unrivalled, the 23-year-old star landed in Lunar BC, handing her a perfect opportunity to show her skills in an already shorthanded side. She played seven games for the Owls and averaged 21.4 points and 13 rebounds per game.
Moreover, she shot 56.8% from the field, a highly productive outing for the star. With many other UConn stars shining on the Unrivaled league, the Sun forward made her mark with a high score of 38 points in just 21 minutes.

The Connecticut Sun front office will be observing her growth and ability when handed the free hand on offense. At the Sun, it was evident that the 23-year-old would still not be a prominent option in the offensive game plan, averaging four field-goal attempts per game. But her current showing would certainly hand the ide another offensive player to rely on.

Protecting the talented forward in the expansion draft and expanding her role in the game would be a perfect solution for the Sun franchise to become a playoff challenger in the upcoming season.
Aaliyah Edward To Test Her Skills In 1-on-1 Tournament
There is yet another chance for the star to demonstrate her capabilities on the floor as she is part of the Unrivaled’s 1-on-1 Tournament. In 2025, she defeated Breanna Stewart, Allisha Gray, and Arike Ogunbowale before losing to Collier in the best-of-three finals.
This season, she is up against top forwards, including her friend Aliyah Boston, Breanna Stewart, Alyssa Thomas, and Dominique Malonga, as strong challengers from her Pod D.
No teammates. No excuses. Just pure talent. Who will be crowned the one? 👑

Even though the Lunar BC has an outside chance of qualifying for the playoffs, winning the 1-on-1 competition would be a fitting end to her season 2 at the tournament.
