When the news went viral, a video of Clark trying her hand at baseball commentary also hit the internet. Though it was a hilarious attempt from the former Iowa star, she already found support from her Fever teammates for her upcoming gig.

Sam Flood, executive producer for NBC Sports, called the 2024 rookie an iconic figure in the basketball world and added that the team wants to have a bigger conversation about having her on the NBA games. As per the details, CC will be on the show covering two games: the Lakers vs the Knicks on February 1 and another on March 29.
The Indiana Fever team made an announcement on social media and wrote, “Caitlin Clark is making her NBA broadcast debut. tune in on February 1 and March 29 as she joins @nbcsports as a special contributor. congrats, CC!”
Reacting to the news, Aliyah Boston wrote, “Perioddddd Babessss 🤩,” while Aerial Powers also lauded her Fever teammate and commented, “Oh, we love this.” Lisa Leslie also gave a compliment to the star as she wrote, “Super Cool”
