The UCLA Bruins push for a strong finish in the conference and have won all four games so far. The team is performing in unison, with every player contributing on the offensive end. Last season’s star player, Lauren Betts, found a perfect support group that could prove effective to win the title this season. Their recent outing against the USC Trojans also highlights how dominating the UCLA side could be with its all-around gameplay.
Aliyah Boston, though, was not happy about one particular aspect of Betts’ game. UCLA star spoke about game-changing advice from her idol, Boston, before her WNBA takeover during the USA senior training camp. The Fever forward gave the Center piece of advice once again.

Aliyah Boston With Advice For Lauren Betts
The Fever forward was on the halftime show for the NCAA game, covering the USC vs UCLA team. At halftime, Cori Close’s team was 15 points ahead and in full control of the game.
But AB dissected the plays and pointed out one mistake that the powerful Centre was committing in the game. “You can see UCLA pushing the ball in transition, Lauen Betts is in the paint, getting a deep position. She is calling for the ball. Once again, I wanna see her take the midrange shots, continue to stretch the floor, make USC have to come out,” Boston said.

Lauren Betts Improving On Offensive Gam
At the start of the college season, the Spain-born star was projected as the top pick on most lists. While the star started slowly in the season, she scored in single digits in multiple games, which was a concerning sign for the UCLA fanbase.
However, after a break, the star began to net the baskets, shooting over 50% in most games, and recorded a double-double in four games. With 14 wins and just one loss in the season so far, the side takes top spot in the Big Ten conference and ranks fourth nationally. The form of Betts is crucial for the program to challenge other top sides, such as UConn and South Carolina.
