The Indiana Fever tried to find its way through the injury-filled season. The one player who remained consistent and played in every game was Aliyah Boston. The rebounding leader was one of the top scorers and occasionally played a playmaker role for the team.
Putting up so much on the floor, the Fever forward was devastated by the loss against the Las Vegas Aces in the elimination game. But she shared a special message for her teammates. Earlier in the season, Boston boasted about the Indiana Fever’s strong team chemistry amid a playoff surge, and her message was on the same line.
Aliyah Boston’s Message For Indiana Fever Teammates
The Indiana Fever’s 2025 season ended on a high note, even though they lost in the semifinals against the Aces. The team fought until the final whistle of the game, despite having five players out for the season. Kelsey Mitchell was lost to injury during the match, and Arike Ogunbowale was sent to foul trouble.

The overtime loss was more than a win, and the proud faces showed it. After the game, Fever took a team picture in the locker room. Sharing the same, Aliyah Boston wrote, “My sisters for life, the best year” with a heart emoji.
Individually, the former South Carolina star had her best season with a career-best 15.4 points and 3.4 assists average. She also stayed around her best rebounding and blocking records, achieving multiple feats in the process.

Aliyah Boston Gets Massive Support From Her Former HC Dawn Staley
The South Carolina Gamecocks’ HC Dawn Staley had a unique situation on hand with two of her best players facing each other in the semifinal. Staley supported both players in the matchup. After A’ja Wilson advanced to the final, Staley reminded everyone that Aliyah Boston is MVP material.
“Let me say this, Aliyah Boston is the real deal! She lead. She produced. Her consistency throughout the season has been remarkable to witness. Her passing. It is just her 3rd season in the WNBA. Each year she’s gotten better…a testament to her work and will! MVP loading! Love AB!” the former WNBA player wrote on ‘X’.

The 2023 rookie performed exceedingly well against the league MVP, limiting her to below 20 points in two games, and even scored big numbers for the team. Aliyah Boston will look to continue her form in the 2026 season and hopefully have a healthy squad by then.
