The 2025 WNBA season delivered entertaining games throughout, with some familiar faces making an impact on the court, while a few new faces also made a difference for their teams on the hardwood. Every such impactful player received special honor for their contributions in the league, with Paige Bueckers winning the Rookie of the Year award and Aliyah Boston winning her first All WNBA Defensive Team honor.
While all these honors solidified their status as top performers of the season, they have now received another mega recognition, this from a reputable magazine, Forbes.

Aliyah Boston, Paige Bueckers And Napheesa Collier Earns Forbes Honor
Every year, Forbes recognizes and honors the top 30 young stars who are under 30 years old and have delivered in recent years in their field. While the categories vary from technology, entertainment, business, to sports, getting that honor is certainly a significant achievement and encouragement for young stars.
In the recent list, Forbes named Boston, Bueckers, and Collier to the list, with the Lynx forward included as an “All-Star Alumni”. While neither of the stars won a WNBA championship in the year, their performances were praiseworthy, earning a spot in the elite list. Ironically, Forbes’ most Powerful female athlete, Caitlin Clark, was missing in the list, but the player earned the honour a season ago, and as per the ‘policy for the list’, no name will repeat itself in the list.

Aliyah Boston With Breakout Season For Indiana Fever
The injury-hit Indiana Fever was one of the brightest teams in the league, and most of the credit goes to the former South Carolina star, who was not only consistent with her games but also the most effective one on both ends of the floor.

She finished the season with a career high of 15 points and 3.7 assists in the game, while maintaining her impressive average of over eight rebounds. She earned her first-ever All-WNBA Team and All-WNBA Defensive Team selection for her efforts in the 2025 season. The three-time All-Star is entering her final year of the rookie contract with the Indiana Fever and will look to cinch a title in the upcoming season.
