The Mist BC maintained its winning streak in the league, highlighting its ability to challenge for the title. Allisha Gray’s addition certainly shifted the momentum for the side as the Lunar Owls’ tough choice to protect Skylar Diggins over Gray backfired. The composed star became an instant hit for the Mist BC team.
In the recent game, though the calm guard lost her control, the reason for it was not a bad play, pass, or a missed shot, but a poor decision from the referee. Fans also showed their support for the Dream guard.

Fans React To Technical Foul Call On Allisha Gray
In the close first quarter, Kelsey Plum tried to drive her way to the basket, as she beat Stewie with a quick shift of handles and bumped into the 31-year-old, who was holding her defensive stance.
The referee blew the whistle as Gray tried to reach for the ball. Though the defender moved away, not happy with the foul call, she lost her control when the officials gave her a technical foul.

Who do think will be CROWNED THE ONE? 👀 pic.twitter.com/2y3nEeseBa
While this seeding doesn’t help in favorable match-ups, given the league’s talent, it certainly reflects their performances this season. Courtney Williams even hilariously tried to avoid Mitchell in the matchup, showing the players’ ability in the format.
As for Gray, she will start her campaign with a match-up against Saniya Rivers. The champion will earn a $200,000 prize, while the runner-up will receive a $50,000 check. The other two semifinalists will receive $25,000 each.
