Someone other than the Chicago Sky might be taking advantage of Angel Reese’s current form and popularity. Luckily for the Windy City franchise, it’s not their WNBA rivals but sneaker giants Reebok.
AR5 is hyped up with the collaboration, and the first-ever edition of her signature shoes is launching soon. The 2023 NCAA Champion shared a post on her social media account right after Reebok’s announcement.
Reebok Announces Angel Reese’s Signature Shoe AR1s Release Date
The two-time All-Star steals the spotlight in every circumstance, whether on the court or off the court. After making a shrewd business decision over the ‘Mebound’ jab, the star will now have her signature shoes out for sale.
Matching her personality, Reebok made the announcement with the “Made for the spotlight” caption. They also declared September 18 as the release date for the AR1 shoe line.

Angel Reese became the face of the Reebok’s Women’s Basketball in 2024, signing a deal with them in her rookie season. Shaq, her mentor, played huge role in the deal and chose the Sky forward as his first athlete signing after becoming president of Operations at Reebok. The Lakers’ great also has signature shoe with Reebok – The Shaq Attaq, first released in 1992.
As for the 2024 rookie, the shoe giant will also release other apparel along with the Shoes. It includes graphic t-shirts, sweatshirts, and sweatpants. The star will be using her signature sleeves also, and made the announcement on social media.

After NBA2K26 and Mebound merchandise success, the Reebok shoe-line highlights AR5’s impact on the fanbase. The star has struck multiple profitable deals off-court. Looking at her popularity and fan following, Reebok could expect massive response for the new signature shoes.
Angel Reese’s Return Still In Dark
While the star is making some waves off the court, her on-court return is still in question. Played just one game in the last nine and is currently nursing her back injury. During that stretch, the side lost seven games and now stands in 12th position. Coach Tyler Marsh recently updated on star forward’s possible return.
“She wants to be out there. She’s a competitor, she’s a fighter, she’s a winner. So it’s part for her to not be out there for her teammates, but we want her to be as healthy as possible when she’s ready to come back,” Marsh told the media (Via X/ChicagoStateofMind).

While there are rumors about the possibility of completely shutting down the former LSU star, HC Marsh opposed the idea but mentioned that it will depend on the medical staff.
