The UConn Huskies remained flawless in their performance so far this season, defeating Ohio State by 32 points in a recent game. WNBA’s top draft prospect, Azzi Fudd, remained the key factor in the win, who stayed consistent throughout the season.
The 2025 NCAA tournament’s MOP was the first one to hint at the possible romantic relationship between the two UConn players. And with her recent act, she once again established the relationship status to the public.
Azzi Fudd Quickly Signs Poster Reading ‘Paige Buckers’ Girlfriend’
UConn Huskies superstar guard posted a mirror selfie of her getting her hair done on her Instagram story on June 21. The photo went viral as it highlighted one line – “Paige Bueckers’ Girlfriend” on her phone case. And now, after five months, she came across the ‘familiar’ line and was excited to sign over it.

While UConn delivered on the night, it was time for the stars to sign autographs. One sign that caught the year-old guard’s eye read – “Paige Bueckers’ Girlfriend Sign Here”. It was a clear message for her as the fan specifically wrote ‘#35’ on the poster too. She rushed to the poster with a smile, signing it first before signing any other posters.

One thing to keep in mind is that PB brought Fudd to UConn Huskies, and she could well play a part in recruiting her again at the Wings.
Azzi Fudd Can Reunite With Paige Bueckers
The Dallas Wings hold the highest odds to land the top pick in the 2026 WNBA draft. With the 2025 first overall pick, they chose Paige Bueckers, who quickly became the cornerstone player for the franchise. Now, with the possibility of landing a top pick or even a lottery draft, they have a chance to reunite the NCAA Championship pair who might need minimal time settling into the roster.

Lauren Betts is still the projected top pick in multiple mock drafts. While the franchise has a chance to pair two guards or to make a young guard-forward combo, they can always make use of the free agency signing to fill in either position.
Considering PB’s presence and influence in the Wings’ decision-making, fans might see Fudd going as the first overall pick in the 2026 WNBA draft.
