The UConn Huskies are the top contender for the championship once again, and though there is no Paige Bueckers this time to make it ‘certain’, the team relies heavily on the production of Sarah Srong and Azzi Fudd. Both Strong and Fudd made the 2026 Naismith Player Of The Year late-season watchlist for their performances in the season.
The third silent yet equally effective star on the court for the Huskies is KK Arnold. The Junior guard is playing behind Fudd but stepped up her play on multiple occasions to ensure victories for her side.
