Azzi Fudd Talks About Meeting Her WNBA Idol
The idea for the Podcast and name came from her family. The 22-year-old shared that her family is her biggest fans, and they came up with the name ‘Fudd Around And Find Out‘. Talking on the Podcast’s opening episode, People’s Princess opened up about her idol in the WNBA.
The youngster attended the All-Star game in Indiana and met many players, out of which, Natasha Cloud was her idol.
“Gosh, I met so many people. It was really fun to see players, like, I’m a big fan of Natasha Cloud, I love her. She played for the Mystics, like she’s one of my favorite players growing up. She made me love watching the Mystics, and when she got traded, I don’t see her as much. So being able to see her, it was like fun,” Fudd said on the Podcast.
Cloud was a member of the 2015 draft class, and the Mystics drafted the guard as the 15th pick. She currently plays for the defending champions, the New York Liberty, and has won a WNBA championship in 2019 with the Washington side.
The UConn star mentioned that she couldn’t watch her idol much later after her trade from the Mystics. Azzi Fudd launched a podcast alongside her longtime friend and former Texas A&M star Ashanti Plummer. She also talked about her All-Star first day and dress at the WNBA draft night.
