After a 26-point loss against the Aces, the Dallas Wings welcomed another strong challenger, the New York Liberty. This time, a special supporter was in the stands, showering love on the team, particularly on Paige Bueckers.
Her former UConn teammate and girlfriend, Azzi Fudd, attended the high-profile game. She was obviously backing the home team. But what caught everyone’s attention was her T-shirt, which had a lovely message written over it.

The ‘People’s Princess’ and the ‘Middy Princess’ recently confirmed their relationship in the public domain after the fuss around their closeness and affection. Fans showered love on the pair, and the UConn prodigies openly showed their love for each other. While the 2025 WNBA rookie wears more tomboyish attire, Fudd is seen regularly in eye-catching outfits when she is off the court and at training facilities.
But it was all pro and support for her better half on Monday night. She wore a custom shirt highlighting her love for Bueckers. The ‘T’ read, “I 💙PB” with Bueckers’ jersey number 5 in the heart.
Fans loved the pair and the affection showed by soon-to-be a ‘W’ star herself.

The UConn guard often attends the Wings’ home games and on big occasions. On 2025 draft night, she was at the table, supporting the top pick, while the rest of the UConn team members were in the audience. Their photos and videos on social media receive love from the fanbase. Fudd is eligible for the WNBA draft in 2026 and would love to partner again with her NCAA Champion teammate.
Her presence and support did wonders for the bottom-placed team, which defeated the Liberty 92-82 at home. Their backcourt duo delivered the offensive masterclass at College Park Center.
Paige Bueckers Shines Against New York Liberty
The match-up was odd, between defending champions, second-placed Liberty, and the struggling Dallas Wings. But with Breanna Steward out injured, the rebuilding Texas franchise took advantage of the defensive gaps. PB, in particular, was aggressive, trusting her mid-range shooting prowess.
She scored 20 points (the most) for the home side, scoring with 58.3% efficiency (the most with 10+ attempts). The guard also threaded four assists, collected six rebounds, and had three steals to round off her all-around performance. Despite trade rumors around her, Arike Ogunbowale scored 20 points and had 14 assists in a mega win for the side.
The win lifts the three-time champions to 11th place with an 8-19 record. The rejuvenated side will now welcome the Atlanta Dream team on July 30.
