Stephanie White and co. shocked everyone, advancing to the semifinal against all odds. The HC already hinted at the resilience of the side and also lauded the players who are delivering for the side. While the on-court stars are making things happen for the Indiana franchise, Caitlin Clark is still part of WNBA history despite not playing in the 2025 Playoffs.
ESPN released the playoff records in which the Fever’s injured guard holds three records, which she set in the 2024 playoff season. This once again highlights her incredible debut season and also provides a reason why ESPN ranked Clark as the top WNBA player under 25.
Caitlin Clark Holds Three WNBA Playoff Records
The Indiana Fever made it to the postseason after eight seasons in 2024. Even though the side lost the opening series in two games, Clark made an immediate impact in the playoffs. In two games, the former Iowa star had 17 assists, setting a record for the most career assists per game.

The offensive star also made 40 attempts in those games, out of which 25 were three-point attempts. This is the highest average attempt per game by a player in postseason games, with 20 FGA and 12.5 three-pointer attempts per game, setting a record in both categories.
Other Fever players in the playoff records list are Tamika Catchings, Kelsey Mitchell, and Aliyah Boston. Catchings averaged a league-best 2.2 steals per game and has the most steals in playoffs (152) in her career. She also leads the league in free throw attempts and made free throws.
Aliyah Boston, though, played for the Fever in her career and holds the record for average rebounds per game. Kelsey Mitchell averages the most field goals made (8.3) per game. The Fever side also holds the record for the highest comeback margin win (22 points) against the Connecticut Sun in 2007.

Caitlin Clark Showing Support For Indiana Fever
The 23-year-old star shared a heartfelt post as she declared her unavailability for the season. But she encouraged fans to show support to the team, and herself took a seat on the sidelines, encouraging the team throughout the season and in the postseason also.
Sophie Cunningham’s mocking of Clark’s all-black outfit went viral, but she joined CC in celebrating the Fever victory at home. In the same game, the playmaker was elated with a third-quarter sequence that finished with Lexie Hull’s clutch three-pointer. Although after game three win, the Fever will now take on the Aces in the semifinal of the 2025 WNBA playoffs.
