Caitlin Clark’s Draft Gameplan Centres Around Loyalty
Clark’s rise to captaincy shows her growth as a leader. She topped the fan voting with nearly 1.3 million votes. The Fever star will select her club with Minnesota Lynx forward Napheesa Collier. When Clark enters the picking room, fans rely on her to make bold decisions.
“Obviously, I’m going to try to get my teammates on my team. Why wouldn’t I? That’s the goal, and once they come out with whoever has made it ,I don’t really know how it works but my first goal would be to have my teammates on my team.”(Via X/Twitter)
Clark wants to reward her Fever teammates for their hard work this season. Lexie Hull, Kelsey Mitchell, and Aliyah Boston are all top contenders for All-Star selections for the Fever. Forward Natasha Howard and guard Sophie Cunningham could also make surprise appearances. Clark hopes the draft works in her favour.

Clark’s coach is ready to step aside and let her star guard wear the GM hat. Clark will lead her team on and off the court this time. Coach White has no plans to interfere with the draft. Clark’s draft plan is clear, as loyalty comes first, and her teammates go with her if possible. Additionally, her choices could shape the All-Star Game and her team’s energy moving forward.
