With the WNBA All-Star voting results out, Caitlin Clark set another record. This time, though, she broke her record as the highest vote getter in the league. In 2024, CC was the top vote getter with just over 700K votes. Her popularity in season 2 continued to grow as she broke the 1 million vote mark and led the league with over 1.2 million votes.
Ironically, her vote count was greater than the total vote count in the 2023 WNBA All-Star game. Yet when the active players’ voting results were out, Clark was ranked the 9th-best guard in the league. Many fans mentioned that it is just the symbol of ‘hate’ towards the Fever guard. And when it came to LeBron James’ notice, he also supported Clark.
LeBron James Seems To Be A Constant Supporter Of Caitlin Clark
When analyst Dick Vitale shared his thoughts on the players’ voting, he labelled it “Pure Jealousy.” He pointed out how the league benefited from Clark’s inclusion and added that these players still don’t see her as the best player. LeBron James also agreed with this.
While he didn’t share any special post showing support for Clark, he didn’t comment on Vitale’s post but clicked ‘like’. A silent yet powerful message to all those who might have voted Caitilin as ‘ninth’ best guard.

Interestingly, this is not the first time LeBron has shown his love towards Caitlin Clark. While the 2025 WNBA season was about to start, LBJ was the first to send his wishes to the Indiana Fever, particularly Clark. “DO YOU per usual.” Clark responded by calling James “the greatest of all time”.

Similarly, when CC posted a triple-double in her first game of the 2025 season against the Chicago Sky, the Lakers superstar congratulated her on social media and wrote, “TRIPLE DUB CC!! Great way to kick off the season!” Over her return from injury in June, LeBron shared a post acknowledging that ‘Caitlin Clark was missed.’ While both top players share admiration for each other, WNBA players’ so-called hate’ towards Clark is unthinkable.
Caitlin Clark Is Aware Of The Hate?
With so many discussions and comments going around the treatment of Clark, does CC feel the same? The answer would be yes. After lifting the 2025 Commissioner’s Cup trophy, the Indiana Fever team will prepare itself for the challenge in the regular season now.
Clark is aware that her franchise is constantly ‘the target’. She has already declared, “Guys, I just know everybody in the league is sickkk,” during celebrations in the locker room.
Well, CC is not only aware of being ‘the target’. Aliyah Boston, another key piece to the Fever’s offense, also knows the thing. She instantly replied to Clark’s above comment with a nod and said, “They’re pissssed.”
