The Indiana Fever has got the vibe, and they got the groove. Their road trip took a fun turn before their 100-91 loss to the Los Angeles Sparks, thanks to a splashy TikTok from Sophie Cunningham and Lexie Hull.
The duo, soaking up the L.A. sun poolside, posted a video in black bikinis, playfully pitching for a swimsuit brand deal. But it was Caitlin Clark, sidelined with a groin injury, who stole the show with a hilarious comment that had everybody cracking up.

In one of her recent social media posts, Cunningham shared a soaking clip from her poolside outing with teammate Hull. The video, racking up over 1.5 million views within hours, showed the pair flaunting their athletic builds before heading to Crypto.com Arena. However, Clark couldn’t resist a playful jab on the occasion.
“Swimsuit brands plz comment ‘focus on basketball,’” the Fever rookie commented.

Cunningham, not one to let that cheeky comment slide, fired back in a now-deleted reply while poking fun at Clark’s “pale” look, per TMZ. Although the poolside fun didn’t carry over to the court, where the Fever, now 17-13, struggled without Clark.
Cunningham and Hull combined for just eight points, with Hull going 0-for-3 in 21 minutes. Additionally, Cunningham added eight on 3-of-7 shooting. Though Kelsey Mitchell led with 34 points, the Sparks, powered by Kelsey Plum’s 25 points and 11 assists, snapped Indiana’s five-game win streak.

She later went on to tweet about the incident as it nearly hit her. The WNBA has since warned fans of ejections and bans for such antics.

Despite the loss, Cunningham’s been a spark for the Fever in Clark’s absence. She’s averaging 11.7 points and 56.3% from three over the last seven games. Hull’s two-way play off the bench has also been key. Clark, out since July 16, is progressing in rehab but isn’t back to team drills yet.
