Just like in 2024, Caitlin Clark’s participation at the LPGA’s Annika Pro-Am tournament was a massive hit with lots of media coverage, multiple celebrities coming in, and new fans joining and becoming followers of the sport. But CC came prepared this time, and her gameplay showed her preparations.
Well before the tournament, Clark was at Michael Jordan’s exclusive Golf club, where she practiced a bit, and the results were evident at the event as she struck some shots well. Her game impressed other basketball stars, too.
Caitlin Clark’s Teammates Impressed By Her Golfing Skills
The 2024 rookie of the year winner is competitive on every field, at the basketball court, at games with her family, and so at the golf course too, though she was a celebrity participant at the event.

Before the event, the former Iowa star practiced her shots and also learned a lot playing with Annika herself. As a result, she put up a great show on the day with some highlight-worthy swings and even some ‘pro-like’ putts. Clark’s teammates responded to the post shared by the Fever guard on social media and asked for ‘lessons’ from CC.
Aaliyah Boston wrote, “Wow you are really cool, please teach me.” Natasha Howard had the same reaction. Her former Iowa teammate, Jada Gyamfi, also wrote, “Teach me how to golf pls.” Tyrese Haliburton’s girlfriend wrote, “what aren’t you god at!!!”

Clark finished with a net of 59 on the Par 70 Pelican Golf Club course for a final score of -11. Despite finishing 36th in the event, she must be happy with her efforts.
While the Fever playmaker had her teammates as her caddies, at the press conference, a reporter asked her about who is the better golfer among them.
Caitlin Clark Chooses Better Golfer Between Lexie Hull And Sophie Cunningham
Sophie Cunningham jokingly asked for caddie duty, which was granted by the organizers. So when ‘Tres Leches’ were together on the golf course, there had to be fun stuff. After CC’s first shot, Hull and Cunningham also tried their hands at the game and hilariously failed miserably. Fans even faked injuries for Sophie Cunningham hugs after a wild drive into the crowd at Annika Pro-Am.

So at the end of the event, when a reporter asked CC about a better golfer amongst her two teammates, it put a smile on her face. She mentioned that both forwards practiced with her a day before and tried their best, though they played with lighter golf clubs earlier, so they should get the benefit of the doubt, but Hull was a better golfer.
In all, the Fever trio had lots of fun at the LPGA’s Annika Pro Am tournament, and we might see a few Fever players taking lessons from the 2024 rookie in the coming days.
