The WNBA playoffs are nearly here! And thankfully, after a lot of huff and puff, the Indiana Fever is most likely to be going through. With very few games left, Fever is now seventh with a 22-20 win-loss record. Their recent win against the Chicago Sky came as a huge relief for the fans. Additionally, with the Fever dominating the game, a small bit of bench entertainment from Caitlin Clark had the fans in splits.
The 23-year-old star has been longing for a comeback this season. Unfortunately, missing the entire season now, Clark has been an active part of the Indiana bench. Only recently, cameras caught Clark’s frustration with the referees after the Fever’s victory over the Sparks. Against the Sky, the 2024 rookie decided to get a little more creative.
Caitlin Clark Trolls Chicago Sky Turnover With Funny Gesture
Since July 15, Clark has not been able to turn up wearing the Fever’s jersey. But despite her injury, the former Iowa star has made sure to accompany the team in each of the games. Likewise, during a point in the Fever vs. Sky game, Chicago committed a turnover. Immediately, the 2024 Rookie of the Year could be spotted getting excited and doing a hilarious gesture by pointing in the other direction.

Her gesture was a clear indication of how the possession changed once Chicago committed the turnover. In the video, Aliyah Boston can also be seen accompanying Clark with her unique gesture. With their teammates watching on, the duo’s antics had the Fever bench split up. In fact, most of the fans who caught a glimpse of the 23-year-old at the Gainbridge Fieldhouse shared a hearty laugh.

Thankfully, the team dominated Sky to secure a 97-77 victory. Kelsey Mitchell dropped 20 points while Odyssey Sims chipped in with 13 points to make things easier for the Fever. Meanwhile, the confrontation with the officials of former Iowa number 22 is not new. Clark had a hilarious reaction after arguing with a WNBA referee over a missed call. She also lashed out in frustration when one of the officials ignored an alleged foul on Lexie Hull.

Caitlin Clark Expresses Frustration As Referee Ignores Foul On Lexie Hull
Lexie Hull has turned out to be one of Fever’s saviours in the absence of primary stars. With the likes of Cunningham and Clark out, Hull has done an impeccable job of keeping the team in the playoff hunt. However, despite her tough nature, it is important that the athletes get enough protection. During Fever’s recent game against the Sky, Hull went up to the basket to attempt a layup.

Unfortunately, Sky’s Kamilla Cardoso hit her in the face while trying to guard her from doing so. Immediately, Hull took to the ground, clutching her face. And while she could be seen with bloodied lips, there were no fouls called on Cardoso. This had Clark utterly frustrated. Lashing out at the officials, the Fever star yelled, “She’s bleeding, she got hit right in the face!”
Surely, this was quite a scare for Hull. Especially after back-to-back face injuries while tussling with Kayla McBride and Gabby Williams. Thus, despite the season coming to a premature stop for Clark, the rookie star is ensuring that she gives her 100 percent in cheering her team on and takes them to the pinnacle of success from the sidelines.
