The Indiana Feve fans are holding tight on Caitlin Clark’s injury, but the good news is still far from nearsighted. And with this, they are getting impatient for her return. The Fever superstar has missed 13 games so far in the season, and in interviews, her teammates and coach mention ‘progress’ but do not provide a clear return date.
The season is entering the second half, and every team is under pressure to win games for the postseason. In the midst of this, the Fever fans get a significant update on CC’s injury following the medical evaluation.
Encouraging Update For Caitlin Clark Fans
The Indiana Fever Guard missed her fourth straight game in the WNBA, including the All-Star game. Her absence affected the ASG viewership, but the player, struggling with a soft tissue injury, has no confirmed return date yet. The franchise mentioned that the guard will undergo a medical evaluation for her injury status. And the results are out.
According to the official statement, no additional injuries or damage were discovered during her rehab period. The team also added that CC will “continue working with the medical team on her recovery and rehabilitation, with the priority on her long-term health and well-being.”
Caitlin Clark underwent further medical evaluations earlier this week, which confirmed that no additional injuries or damage were discovered.

The team also confirmed 2024 rookie’s absence for the game against the Aces. But the team bounced back from the loss against the Liberty and registered an 80-70 win over the 2023 champs. The next game will be against the surging Chicago Sky at the United Center on July 27.
With three more days of recovery time, fans will hope to see the former Iowa star in action again, especially considering the opponent’s superstar, Angel Reese, making a serious push for the ‘W’.

Players Showed Support to Caitlin Clark In Her Recovery Phase
While it’s not rare to see the 23-year-old guard out of action for a ‘single’ game, she only missed 13 games in total in the 2025 season. The player suffered groin and quad injuries, limiting her game availability.

Her teammates, Sophie Cunningham, Aliyah Boston, and Kelsey Mitchell, spoke openly about their feelings about CC’s injuries. But it’s not only her peers; her opponents also supported the league’s brightest star. Sabrina Ionescu, in particular, was very vocal about it and gave the 23-year-old guard a piece of advice. She also added that a ‘complete recovery is a must’ to return to her previous form.
NBA stars like LeBron James and Tyrese Haliburton backed the WNBA superstar to bounce back stronger. Clark, herself new to this situation, accepted struggles, but is eager to make an early return possible.
