The Indiana Fever fans will be in treat as three of their beloved superstars will be together again. It’s not a basketball game or a public appearance, but an LPGA Pro-Am golf event where Caitlin Clark will be a participant with Lexie Hull and Sophie Cunningham as her caddies.
Clark teams up with NCAA Champ Lauryn Nguyen as Gold Partner for Annika Pro-Am, and there has been a lot of buzz about the event. Many prominent celebrities also joined in as notable guest players; one of them was Kai Trump, the granddaughter of President Donald Trump. On day 1, Kai faced the media and questions about CC.
Kai Trump Laud’s Caitlin Clark’s Impact
The young golfer is looking to have a career in the sport, and playing in the LPGA Pro-Am tournament provided her a great opportunity to test her swings against some top names in the country. She even played nine holes with Annika Sorenstam, getting lessons and tips from the golf legend.

During her presser, a reporter asked her about the Fever guard and her impact. Kai said, “Yeah, I mean, what Caitlyn’s doing for women’s basketball, it’s amazing. I think she’s a great role model to many people out there.”
The youngster is also an emerging name in the Golf circuit and recently committed to Miami and acknowledged that she is also looking to make a similar impact in Golf.

As for the former Iowa star, she felt good about the tournament last season and hence decided to join it again in 2025. But she is preparing herself for the challenge this time as Clark was spotted at Michel Jordan’s exclusive Golf Club ahead of the tournament.
Annika Sorenstam Praises Caitlin Clark’s LPGA Pro-Am Impact
With a passion for Golf, the 2024 WNBA rookie once again will be at a golf tournament during her WNBA offseason. While she is looking to get better in her game on the Green course, the organizer, Annika Sorenstam, had the nicest words for the Fever guard’s impact on the tournament.
Sorenstam told the media, “She added so much excitement to the tournament. We had a lot of people come out, they were standing on the first tee at 7 am, waiting for her to see that first shot. She loves the game of golf, and I’m so glad that she wanted to come back because, you know, it brings more people to the game, brings more people to the tournament, and that’s really what we’re looking for,” Sorenstam added.
The first questions Annika Sorenstam gets asked about her pro am this weekend are about… of course, Caitlin Clark.

The competitive player might not want to just get the ‘attention’ in the competition and might even see her lifting an LPGA trophy one day, which would be one of the greatest achievements for the record-setting superstar.
