The Los Angeles Sparks’ game against the Las Vegas Aces was not just another regular-season game. The home side was on a five-game winning streak and was looking to break into playoff contention with a win over their former champions. There was one additional incentive in the game: Cameron Brink’s return.
After months of reporting and updates, the player finally returned to the on-court action following an ACL injury. The 23-year-old forward had been out for 13 months, and her awaited comeback was perfect for the Sparks. But she had to go through a lot to be back on the hardwood, and she shared her experience with the fans.

Recovery from an ACL injury takes time; even then, it’s hard for any athlete to return to their previous form. The LA Sparks coach, Lynne Roberts, mentioned that she will be cautious with the star. HC used the returning star as a substitute and played her for 14 minutes.
